School Crossing Guard Training – at Village of Canisteo

Developed in conjunction with Zone 5 Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy, the PERMA School Crossing Guard training has kept school crossing guards, and the children they protect, safe for over two years. Attendees review state and federal regulations, proper gear, traffic patterns, and hand signals; learn to instruct children in appropriate pedestrian behavior; and practice techniques learned with each other in an interactive environment.
