The Underwriting & Account Management Department provides a comprehensive 360-degree service team that not only prices your coverage but also answers program questions, offers claims reports/loss runs and addresses any concerns. We regularly conduct member orientations, schedule meetings, and accommodate your general servicing needs. We are committed to developing strong relationships with both members and brokers, serving as your primary point of contact. From the new member process through renewal, our responsibility is to ensure that we consistently meet the satisfaction of our members throughout our program.

Custom Underwriting
At PERMA, our underwriting process begins with each member getting individually evaluated according to their own exposures, their focus on safety and their own loss experience. We partner together to verify exposures both through on-site inspections and payroll audits to provide you with the best coverage. This thorough process allows each member to pay their fair and equitable share. PERMA members face lower administrative costs by being part of our group self-insurance plan and unpredictable member losses are typically paid by both excess insurance and/or PERMA surplus funds.
