Albany Educational Regional/Breakfast

Please join us in Albany where speaker Dr. William McIntrye will present on the topic of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Breakfast will be served from 8 – 8:30am, followed by Dr. McIntyre’s presentation.
The session will include:
- a brief history of PTSD, its causes, early detection and treatment
- discussion of alcohol abuse and PTSD, which are often found together
- identification of other mental health disorders that can be symptoms of PTSD
Law enforcement executives, mid-management officers, and first-line supervisors will all benefit from this training. Municipal administrators who employ police officers and/or those in other departments who may be veterans or others who have witnessed traumatic incidents as part of their employment will also find this to be a very informative session.
