In conjunction with the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA), PERMA is presenting its first webinar in four years on Monday, October 23.

Participants will hear from three experts from different fields of information technology as they discuss the most current threats to computers, networks, email, and mobile devices, and how those threats can be addressed. Over the course of an hour, our experts will break down the issues, from ransomware – which has shut down municipal networks in both Newark and San Francisco in the past year – to threats associated with the Internet of Things, our ever-expanding connectivity through everyday objects.

PERMA Network Engineer Walt Lichty will be moderating the discussion between panelists  Andrew Dolan of the Center for Internet Security, Daniel Gibson of GreyCastle Security, and Deborah Snyder of the NYS Office of Information Technology Services.

Registration and additional information can be found on the Calendar page.
