Effective immediately, PERMA has become a host training organization for the Rochester Institute of Technology OSHA Training Institute Education Center (RIT OTIEC). Beginning in October, the PERMA office in Latham will host a variety of OSHA courses. Below is the full schedule with links to descriptions and registration information for each session:

The OSHA 511 course being offered in March is the last requirement to complete the new PERMA Certified Safety Coordinator (PCSC) designation! The PCSC is a completely voluntary program that combines the municipal-specific PERMA basic and Advanced Safety Coordinator training with intensive federal OSHA training. PERMA members that hold the PCSC will be recognized as municipal risk and safety professionals throughout the state. Contact Christian Summers for more information on the PCSC program.
