In partnership with the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs (NYSAFC), we have selected winners for the 2022 Firefighter Risk Reduction Grant Program. Our goal of this program is to financially assist members in obtaining equipment that will help reduce injury and illness within their agencies. This year monies were awarded to five members of both NYSAFC (department members only) and PERMA for new gear washer and dryers, which remove carcinogens from turnout gear while maintaining gear durability.
This 2022 awardees are:
- Claverack Fire District (A.B. Shaw Fire Company)
- Cortlandville Fire District
- Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department
- Greenville Fire District
- Westmere Fire District
